The problem has turned out to be extracting them. Even if the game has slowdown, I have no problem getting there. There are a few models I'd like from Rebel Strike especially, such as the TIE Hunter, the APC, the missile submarine, the missile drone, etc. One of those possibilities is extracting models from the game. Of course, I have the games on disc and I don't mind playing them that way, but emulator support opens up new possibilities. All I remember was someone was ripping KH character models and had posted the thread asking for help and showing his results.I was so happy to hear support for Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike was finally implemented to the point of playability.

I believe there may be tutorials and guides there explaining how to extract character models, but I don't recall it exactly either. Anyway, enough with me ranting about games, as for how to get the character models from Naruto Accel (whatever the exact name is), the most I know of was how to hack Naruto Accel and edit the background music where you mess with the afs/adx from here.Įdit: You could try asking some in to make you an extractor, but you should really follow their rules before you post asking one although they seldom respond unless you got to their IRC channel or something I guess (if I recall them having one). It simply got more repetitive than fun unlike Tales of Destiny (remake) where I especially appreciate how deep the gameplay was compared to how stale ToA was. Tales of the Abyss was less than good in my opinion despite playing it for several times each higher difficulty given.

The ToA US version has practically the same files and file names as the Jap ToA version except the ISO size for the US ToA game is a few hundred megabytes less than the Jap ToA version because the US one omitted the voiced skits. PS2 Tales of the Abyss Undub (US version but with Jap voices)Īlso, here's something for you to note. PS2 Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix (KH2:FM, not the KH:COM PS2 remake) There are a bunch more people asking for way more illegal things to be done but really, it's up to them to decide what's wrong and right. Tales of Destiny (remake) PS2 and Japan ExclusiveĪnd I wouldn't really worry asking about this sort of thing. Anyone know what those kinds of files are used for? And if this has been posted before, I'm sorry and I'll delete the thread. I'm pretty sure that's not considered piracy, especially because I already own the game, but if it is on this forum I'll delete this thread. This is the most likely option.Ĭan anyone help me? I was hoping to use a couple of the models to make papercraft models. I'm just being a naive newb and doing something wrong. But I don't think this is the case because I ripped them straight from the disc and the game still plays just fine. PSS files without a problem, but I guess it could still be a possibility.Ģ.

I don't think this is the case because some of the files are in English, and I opened the. BIN file that requires a certain program to open. Maybe the Japanese have some sort of special. I'm fairly certain the models are in those. ISO files with a program called BIN2ISO, then tried to use IsoBuster to open the. I brushed that aside and tried to open the. But that leaves me with a whole bunch of. PSS files, since those are audio and video. There weren't any files that looked like they had character models in them. Once all the files from the game were extracted, I looked through them to find the models. Then I used IsoBuster to open the ISO and extract the files into the same folder. I started by burning the ISO for the game into a folder using DVD Decrypter as explained on this thread. I need a model from a Japanese PS2 game, so I tried to open up the game. I'm a newb at this sort of stuff, but I've looked everywhere I can on the Internet to find help.
